Race description

Isaberg 500 is the race we love to run ourselves and is the foundation of the entire trail weekend. A perfect mix of trails, hills, sweat, and tears that brings to mind spectacular races both in our Swedish mountains and in the Alps of Europe. Isaberg 500 also offers switchbacks, long, delightful downhill runs, and a fantastic view. In between, you can enjoy winding trail running in enchanting forests. Isaberg 500 features at least 500 meters of elevation gain and is perfect for those training for mountain marathons and similar races. NEW FOR 2025! When Isaberg 500 started, the Giant Trail was a hot topic. A year later, it was closed due to landslide risks. In 2025, the Giant Trail will be revived during Isaberg 500 but under a new name - the Giant Staircase... Isaberg 500 is a qualifying event in the Outnorth Trail Tour 2025.
